Spring is in the air and we're recruiting!

Knutsford GROW is a charity whose Coordinators bring together two groups of people for their mutual benefit. On one hand, we tend the gardens of people living in Knutsford who, by reason of their age, infirmity or disability, are unable to do so themselves or pay for gardening services. On the other, we offer opportunities for volunteers of all abilities to deliver a community service in a supportive environment with access to training.

We are unique in that our workforce is made up of a mixture of the able-bodied, disabled, those with adult learning or mental health difficulties and those attempting to start / return to work following unexpected life events. During the pandemic we were helped by volunteer furloughed workers and those between jobs.

GROW’s Trustees and our lovely Volunteers are all unpaid. Despite this GROW costs just over £10,000 a year to run, and sadly even in Knutsford money doesn’t grow on trees, which is why we need your help. There are lots of ways you can do this from donating online, to leaving us a gift in your will, or for a regular donation be part of GROW's Patrons Collective.

We welcome support from local companies who, over the years, have helped fund our activities and provide volunteers. We work in partnership, providing an opportunity for them to contribute to the local communities where their staff live and work.
