New job opportunity with Knutsford GROW

Knutsford GROW are looking to recruit a new part-time coordinator to manage a new Big Lottery funded project; "GROW more!"

Knutsford Grow, a small vibrant gardening charity, has received funding from the Big Lottery Fund to expand its area of operation to Bexton Ward and Warren Avenue in Knutsford for a one year pilot.  It is looking for a part-time co-ordinator to set up the new area using our tried and tested model then run a 2 day a week programme. The project will run for 12 months.  If successful it aims to continue subject to funding being identified and given.

Knutsford Grow is a 12 year old charity providing a garden maintenance service to elderly and disabled residents of Knutsford, using the skills and enthusiasm of volunteers from a wide range of ages and ability.

Pay/employment status: Self Employed.  Payments to be made against agreed objectives and deadlines rather than hours worked.  However for comparative and guidance purposes only it is anticipated this would equate to be in the region of £12 per hour.

Any person applying should have a “First Aid at work” certificate; Grow may fund necessary training.

Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service [‘CRB’] clearance may be a requirement for the successful candidate.

Experience and or qualifications in horticulture and the caring professions are essential.
